We are pleased to share the invitation to apply to the call for communications, to be held in the context of the Urban co-creation Data Lab.

Call for communications

Originally scheduled for 18-20 May in Lisbon, the conference has been postponed until 14-16 July 2021. The call for papers has been extend to May 23, 2021.

The Lisboa Urban Data Lab aspires to share knowledge and best practices on urban analytics regarding #micromobility, #wastemanagement, #parking, #pollution and #emergency.

The project team will present analytical models developed by the Urban Co-Creation Data Lab (UCD Lab) that address critical urban management verticals. The models have been deployed in Lisboa. This conference will share the results of our efforts, the research developed in the partner cities, and work by other researchers in urban analytics.

If you are a researcher working in one or more of these five areas, we invite you to submit a paper to be presented in the Lisboa Urban Data Lab as our guest.

The authors of the papers selected by Lisboa Urban Data Lab Scientific Committee will have the opportunity to joins us in Lisboa* and the selected papers will be funded for publication in the special issue “Urban Analytics and Creation of Services for Sustainable Cities” of Sustainability journal.

The Lisboa Urban Data Lab is an activity of the Urban Co-Creation Data Lab Project (https://urbandatalab.pt), co-financed by CEF of the EU, and will be, a hybrid event, held in Lisbon at NOVA IMS Information Management School (https://www.novaims.unl.pt).
