Working session: “ERC 2021: Starting Grants applications preparation and tips”
REMA promotes a working session on 26 March 2021 to encourage participation, supporting and increasing the competitiveness of FLUP researchers’ applications to the European Research Council (ERC) Starting Grants programmes.

The session plan includes general indications of the Horizon Europe programme, financial aspects, guidelines for building the principal investigator’s profile, application submission process, and preparation of supporting documentation. Where appropriate, the other ERC funding programmes (Consolidator and Advanced Grants) will also be addressed. The format of the session will be exclusively online, and according to the following scheme of work:

9h30 – Opening
9h35 – Horizon Europe: European Research Council (ERC)
9h50 – ERC: Starting Grants
10h30 – ERC: Budget plan
11h00 – Questions
11h30 – Closing Session

The ERC funds projects submitted by individual researchers in all scientific domains, being scientific excellence the main evaluation criteria.
