The Commission is organising the “EU Industry Days “Unlocking the future: EU industrial ecosystems on the path to the transition” on 8-11 February 2022 in an hybrid format.
The event aspires to stimulate discussions across industrial ecosystems on their green and digital pathways, in support of strengthening the resilience of EU companies and SMEs.
The EU Aerospace and Defence ecosystem is one of the 14 industrial ecosystems identified by the Commission as a follow-up to the New industrial strategy for a globally competitive, green and digital Europe. It contributes to EU strategic autonomy, technological independence and resilience and it is also an engine of the twin green and digital transitions. Therefore it is of the outmost importance the organisation of a dedicated panel on the challenges and prospective of the sector.
Industry is invited to express its interest to participate or to propose, curate and manage a stakeholder session at the EU Industry Days, through a call for proposal by the 28 November 2021. https://ec.europa.eu/eusurvey/runner/EUID2022CallforStakeholderSessionProposals
In line with the Commission goals on industrial ecosystems and pathways, EU Industry Days 2022 would like to include programme sessions that cover one or more of the following topics:
- The green and digital transition
- Resilience
- Youth in industry
