The European Commission in collaboration with the UfM is organizing a workshop  aiming to bring together multiple stakeholders concerned with R&I in the EUROMED region on 8 July 2021 at 10:00 am (CET).

The workshop will update participants on the EU Global approach to research and innovation https://ec.europa.eu/info/files/communication-global-approach-research-and-innovation_en. The event will mainly give participants and overview of the Euro-Mediterranean R&I cooperation policy, initiatives, and priorities; including the  Renewed partnership with the Southern Neighbourhood: A new Agenda for the Mediterranean. The event will also raise awareness about Horizon Europe and explain its different elements, with a specific focus on the calls for proposals that are open for applications in 2021-2022.

The workshop aims to include  universities, research organisations, businesses, NGOs, policy-makers, practitioners, funding institutions; thus,  giving participants an opportunity to network with the aim of applying for Horizon Europe.
