Within the scope of the Portuguese Presidency of the Council of the European Union, the Polytechnic of Viseu was invited by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Higher Education to organize an international meeting on Digital Transition. The initiative, entitled “In April, 1000 digitail!”, will discuss the role that Higher Education Institutions can play for the European leadership of the digital economy, considering three pillars: Citizenship, Knowledge and Employment. To participate in the sessions were invited representatives from official entities, from the industrial sector, from European Higher Education Institutions and from research organizations, who will present the best foreign practices in each of these areas. All sessions will have a space for debate and Q&A.
