It is our great pleasure to invite you to join us at the international conference “Clinical Academic Centers: The Impact on Clinical Research” which will take place on 10th of March 2021, in Loulé (Portugal), as a hybrid event with the possibility to attend in person or by live streaming.

This conference is jointly organized by the Algarve Biomedical Center (ABC) and the Agency for Clinical Research and Biomedical Innovation (AICIB) in the scope of the Portuguese Presidency of the European Union Council (PPUE21).

The conference aims to bring together several leaders of Clinical Academic Centers (CACs) across Europe, who will discuss the importance of CACs in clinical research, debate specific clinical cases, with a particular focus on cancer research, and share experiences about the different practices and operating models of CACs in Europe. In addition, the purpose of this conference is to discuss the importance of stimulating research networks and European cooperation between CACs.
