The European Commission published the list of associated countries to Horizon Europe last 17th June. Horizon Europe associated countries can participate under the same conditions as the EU member states, therefore are automatically eligible for funding. Regarding the participation of member states and Associated Countries, Horizon Europe Regulation foresee that on research and innovation actions and on the innovation actions, the consortium must have at least one institution from a member state.

This list includes the countries associated with Horizon 2020 and also includes Morocco. At the same time Switzerland is not part of this list and the United Kingdom is not part of the equity part of the EIC Accelerator.
