- The Cluster Health topics for 2021 remain open until 21st of September 2021 and are accessible through the European Commission Funding and Tenders Portal.
- The results of the Horizon Europe Emergency Program, launched under the Hera Incubator, have already been announced. The calls that included topics from the Health Cluster and from the Research Infrastructures funded 11 projects with 120 million euros from Horizon Europe to tackle the threats posed by new variants of the SARS-CoV-2 virus. Portugal participates in 3 projects (COVend, EuCARE and ISIDORe) with a total of 10 national entities.
- The European Commission has been working towards a simplification and harmonization of processes and rules for the various programs. In this sense, it simplified the model of Grant Agreement and recently published the Annotated Grant Agreement, which will be progressively complemented throughout the implementation of the programme.
- The European Commission has published the list of associated countries and third countries eligible for funding under Horizon Europe.
- The first wave of Action Grants for 2021 of the EU Program for Health, EU4Health, remain open until 15th of September 2021. The second wave of Action Grants is expected to open in the fall of 2021. Meanwhile, the 2022 program is already in preparation through open consultation on priorities, strategic orientations and needs. Participate in the consultation until the 28th of August 2021!
