The starting point of the first day’s debate is the Communication “2030 Digital Compass: the European way for the Digital Decade”.
Two of the highlights of this event will be the presentation of the Lisbon Declaration, a contribution to the preparation of a proposal from the European Commission for a joint inter-institutional Declaration of Digital Principles, and the inauguration of the EllaLink submarine cable, which will be retransmitted from the cable’s site in Sines, south of Lisbon.
